Appendix 6 Wincanton Option 1 Conclusion GENERAL - The Sustainability assessment provided in Appendix 6 appears inconsistent and ill-informed and appears poorly assessed and very subjective with incorrect scoring resulting from either misinformation, bias or lack of knowledge of the area, With corrected scoring as justified below, Option 1 does not perform as well as Option 2 or Option 3. These are in tabular form against identified paragraphs of the Draft Core Strategy for ease of reference. Please note that having consulted the local residents in my area, I have had a lot of feedback (from about 25 to 30

The system used for consultation online by SSDC is very good and makes it easy to raise comments, however for my own records/ease of maintenance/spell checking/accessibility, I have used Microsoft Word for recording my comments.

It is clear that introduction of another 350 homes is contrary to the local needs at this time. Refer to Town Council Letter dated 24,h November 2010 and many respondents to the consultation. The Local Issues and Aspirations should be reworded to reflect this.
