If these sites are developed to capacity and SHLAA land and brown sites used, that should be the yard stick to prompt further development if required. In this economic climate it would be prudent to move forward slowly.

I spent a lot of time on the previous consultation which has now been scrapped, and although you say that the comments made were incorporated in this new proposal, it seems to me that some major comments have not been addressed, namely:
1. the future of the Augusta-Westland airfield - I just do not see how this airfield, which accommodates trials and testing flights as its main raison d'etre ( with their higher risk than commercial flights), can be allowed by the national aerospace authorities
