new housing should go to the south to once again center the town center somerton has now got an over abundance of allotments and an allotment association our parking woes are due to the fact that our youngsters have no homes in somerton to move into,thus your average house now has 3/4/5 cars and nowhere to park them. we need 500 affordable/social houses asap not retirement villages or grand detached houses the doctors surgery building has ample room to expand on all sidesbut one,by atleast half

I do not agree the facilities for the young are poor. We have a large playing field, skate park, the Town Council have money set aside for a youth hut which has never been used.

Dear Sir, I am very concerned at what is happening to Somerton with the boarded up buildings on the High St. The town is looking very run down and it is a great shame the retirement development wasn't pursued.A nursing home on the site should not be allowed. I would rather see low cost housing properly incorporated into this area, to get a younger population in town and to try and generate more local trade. Any development must be in keeping with the historic nature of Somerton. There is no reas

somerton needs its train station re opened somerton needs either a one way system for the high street or total pedestrian only we need a much bigger doctors surgery. we need traffic wardens and more yellow lines to stop the selfish parking we need an indoor sports center. larger waste recycling center we need some entertainment for us and our children.ie cinema /fast food outlet at badgers cross!swimming pool bowling.. the schools should expand...upwards.or into the etsome terrace site as that w
