Transport and Accessibility (p.12)
2.20 The District has a fascinating environmental, industrial and cultural heritage with an enviable and varied landscape, valued by residents and which are a great draw to visitors.
This does not appear to have been fully considered in the Sustainablity Assessment material presented. In particular the environmental (Conservation Area) and historic (T S Eliot, William Dampier, listed properties, etc) aspects of East Coker appear to have been overlooked.

2.23 Congestion issues are particularly concerning for settlement size at Yeovil and Chard. Yeovil's radial routes and inner relief road are struggling to accommodate increasing traffic levels.
This further emphasises that traffic surveys and forecasts are an essential part of preparing these proposals.
