We object to this policy. The change of use of employment land and buildings should be supported where the alternative use provides employment through industrial as well as other business activities. This wider range of uses, brings vitality to an area and is often more attractive to employees and therefore their employers than areas where the uses are restricted The wording of the first bullet point should be amended to exempt a change of use from the marketing statement where the al

We have noted that Policy EP2: Change of use of employment land and buildings is a revised version of the adopted Policy EP3 and that the major revision is a reduction in the length of marketing required from 18 months to 12 months.
