This paragraph refer to the "Government's
current feed in tariff" however this scheme
closed in April 19 and there is no current
financial incentive scheme of a similar nature.

The Local Planning Authority's position that it
will not designate any sites for wind energy
development, means that in accordance with
PPG no sites can be developed within South
Somerset. This position flies in the face of the
fact that South Somerset are considering
declaring a climate change emergency.
It is a huge missed opportunity to enable the
provision of renewable energy and goes against
all the government's efforts to reach carbon
neutrality by 2050.
