Crewkerne Allocation HG1 encompasses an ordinary watercourse tributary of the Parrett. Flood Zones are currently mapped along this watercourse. A sequential approach will need to be followed within the site such that houses and infrastructure are not located in areas of flood risk – the Joint Level 1 SFRA assumes the entirety of FZ3 to be 3b.

I agree with Comment ID 6 from David King and his analysis of housing numbers required for the 5 year housing supply.The problem with 5 year housing supply is the speed which they are built, which is in the hands of the developers but they benefit from applying for extra housing in the wrong places to meet the 5 year housing supply. I believe from your figures the housing supply for 2023-2028 will be 7,974 why can't these be brought forward?. The number of houses for Yeovil should not be reduce

Firstly i have two questions - 1) who is going to live in all these houses? and 2) where are they going to work? On what basis has this sudden need for so much new housing been identified? I am 37 years old and the CLR development has been dragging on for as long as i can remember. No new major development should be considered in Crewkerne until CLR comes to fruition and a few years pass to see how it affects the town. This should also be the first development to happen because it includes a n
