Reference to noise is made within Policy HG6 with regard to the accommodation needs of travelling people. Part (iii)e identifies the health risk that might be presented by noise at some site locations and it may be helpful if the Plan clarifies if different standards of noise amenity might be thought to be appropriate between residential pitches and transit pitches. Accommodation of Gypsies, Travellers and Travelling Showpeople (9.63-68) should also make reference to access to health services, as people in such groups frequently have poor health.
