I'd like to focus on what makes this area so attractive for its residents and visitors to the area:
the current Local Plan document on P22 refers to the agricultural backdrop of South Somerset, yet then proceeds to recommend even more residential development of several BMV (Best & Most Versatile agricultural land) around CC&A! If CC&A become over developed we face the very real risk of losing that which makes it so attractive a place to live and lose the visitors th

Several hundred dwellings have already been approved on the Castle Cary and Ansford site which already exceeds the number required by National Policy. The infrastructure (roads, doctor's surgery, dentist, schools) already struggles with the rapid growth of the town and doubling the size will destroy the character of this unique town. The traffic in and out of the area will become unbearable and unsafe.
