The Local Plan mentions the 'capacity issues in medical facilities around Bruton' and states that 'at the time of writing it is understood that no solution has yet been identified'. This is a matter of great concern to people in Bruton who perceive an already-reduced access to general medical services. This should be considered an infrastructure requirement and a matter of priority. There is already a commitment to the Cubis estate which will bring an unknown large number of extra patients into

Infrastructure The Infrastructure Delivery Plan states no need for any 'critical' infrastructure as a result of proposed new development. (Steph) There is no mention of social housing - affordable is a meaningless term, especially given the pace of delivery of affordable being built and the proportion of smaller houses across the pace range should be far greater. The need is for small starter homes or for older people wanting to downsize. There should be far greater sanctions for developers who renege on agreed levels of social housing. Housing - Important to have low cost supported housing. Also low emission/ 0 emissions with rainwater collection for loo's/washing etc Solar panels! Paths, cycletracks to bring people into town. Brewham Road - Trees planted around estate, electric points for e-cars accessible, make sure each house sufficient car parking for their cars. Infrastructure - We've had so many problems with our old sewage system - is it able to cope with more? Surgery and School - they will need larger capacity. Brew
