Section 8.63 states "Milborne Port's town centre is very small, with just six commercial units interspersed with domestic properties and the library. The buildings in the town centre are largely traditional in appearance with a number being listed. The town centre is located within one of the settlement's two Conservation Areas. "
At the time of writing the library has now been closed and the former premises are empty. Similarly the former Electrical and Florist shops. This leaves only 3 shops
