7.183 – As Somerton is identified as a Local Market Town why has the town been disproportionally allocated a higher number of required houses (574) than Wincanton which is a Primary Market Town (563) and Langport, another Local Market Town (351)? The amenities in Langport far exceed those in Somerton as it has both Primary and Secondary Schools, Larger supermarket and variety of shops, more car parking availability (199 free spaces as opposed to 118 free spaces + 56 charged spaces in Somerton),

MAP - Your map - you do not have the new housing developments already in construction on it - why not? **Somerton Town Plan - Have you read it? Promoting healthy and safe communications - The Buttercross health Centre in Somerton is overwhelmed with patients now with only 70+ David Wilson Homes 90+ Bovis Homes already occupied + 59Cartway. With 161 (DW) + 133 (BH) and 140 (Fairfax) +140 (this development) and infill we have 574 new homes +infill. This is more than 25% increase on our 2300+home
