I consider that 152 houses is too many. Bruton does not have the infrastructure on many fronts. As I write there have been two burst water mains , one on Brewham Road (for the third time) and another on the Frome road. The medical services are severely stretched and some are not occupied. There is one important aspect missing from your review. PARKING. The parking in Bruton is very much lacking in capacity. I have a radical solution which is not original. Move the primary school to the area opposite Sexeys school. This would free up the primary school area for a possible new medical centre plus a much needed car park  with pedestrian access via Warren Close to the high school.

I have lived in Bruton for 46 years, 12 of which I was the postmaster. Bruton has seen considerable development in that time. It has reached the limit. I am opposed to the development of BT1.
