 I object because SSDC & their Consultants have not addressed the concerns of the Planning Inspector expressed in his Preliminary findings after the Initial Enquiry viz They have still failed to compare the possible sites in a Consistent way regarding Heritage, Setting of Ancient Buildings & Monuments. I wish to object to the Proposed Main Modification as the subject of the local Urban Extension is still not justified.  I would like to see proof of the demand for this development and if the demand is truly concrete, I would like to understand why the provision of further housing cannot be supplied in small numbers on numerous sites. I do not understand and see no justification for the housing to be in such large "blocks" which unavoidably destroy valuable agricultural land.  There are many "

The Planning Inspector found the proposed Local Plan to be unsound, with reference to the Yeovil Urban Extension, because the Sustainability Appraisal itself was conducted in an unsound manner.  SSDC quite rightly decided to perform the Sustainability Appraisal (SA) again, with the aim of performing it in a sound manner.  However, the public have not been given an opportunity to consult on this new document to ensure that this is the case.  SSDC have gone ahead and made modifications to the loca
