I object on the grounds that the 4 issues of Point 2.18 remain unaltered.  Historical environment at threat, prime agricultural land at threat, communities at threat, landscape at threat.  Increased flood threat should also be investigated.

I object to the proposed development in the Coker area: Loss of an area of natural beauty: The area is one of natural beauty and this would be spoiled by any development let alone one of this magnitude. It is used by walkers, horse riders and those interested in the beauty of the countryside and as such needs to be protected. I object to the proposed housing development, north of Yeovil. Ref para 2.18 regarding landscape impact, the housing development at East Coker will have little visual impact on the landscape when viewed from the A37 approaching the town from the south. The visual impact of a large development on the north side of town below Primrose Lane is huge. The development will be clearly visible from the A303 & as the town is approached via the A357 as the proposed site runs along the side of the hill.
