| Comment | 3. The environmental and undulating value of Shudrick Valley (east) has been recognized in the SA, as against Canal Way (west). Attempts by the opponents of the western option to enhance the loss of the Herne Hill environment, were made that construction of houses would carry on right up to the tree line of Herne Hill, (as wrongly shown on the amended plan of the western option) whereas the District Council maintain it would be limited to a level area just south of Canal Way. |
