I OPPOSE the proposal to change the development from Option2 to Option 1 on the grounds of insufficient consultation with the majority of the electorate of Ilminster. The town council have been patently opaque in pursuing a proved to be unnecessary "Bypass" by professionals, ie Atkins. Development should be towards the main transport links to the centres of employment, ie Exeter , Taunton, Yeovil etc, and utilise the existing and available brown-field site.
