Given our comments in relation to Policy SS4 and SS5 it is considered that the proposals in Paras 4.92 & 6.58 not to add any further allocations to the town of Crewkerne are unsound and unjustified. The delays in bringing forward the CLR site from the last Local Plan and the effect which this is likely to have on the delivery of housing numbers at the town suggest that it is extremely unwise to rely on the emergence of sites within the existing urban area.
