4.86 Figure 5 is incorrect and misleading. The full effects of the arbitrary employment land allocations to market towns and rural centres have not been taken into account. The overall job's figure provision is 11,882 and not 9200 as stated throughout this document. This changes the distribution pattern across the District quite dramatically from that illustrated. Rural centres have twice the jobs allocation indicated , Market towns are understated and Yeovil has much less than indicated. It should be noted that the distribution indicated (and even more so, when corrected) bears little resemblance to the SA option 2 stated by SSDC as the most sustainable and preferred option. In fact, the actual distribution is, almost certainly, the least sustainable approach.
