Do you consider the DPD is Sound?
If you have responded that the DPD is unsound, Do you consider the DPD is unsound because it is:
Comment | We object to the wording of this policy as it stands, in particular bullet point 3 and bullet point 9. 3rd bullet – by setting the bar at a level of no ’significant adverse impact’ we consider the policy does not afford appropriate protection to the AONB, where proposals should be fully judged against the special qualities of the area and conservation and enhancement of natural beauty, and a ‘moderate’ impact may well be unacceptable. 9th bullet – we consider this point probably has admirable intent, but as drafted is unclear and lacks clarity, and therefore does not provide adequate policy guidance. |
What changes do you suggest to make the DPD legally compliant or sound?
