Comment | Previously we have drawn attention to the impact design can have on bat populations and other wildlife and said Development proposals, extensions and alterations to existing buildings, structures and places should ensure that habitat features that are used by bats and other wildlife are maintained so that the design does not cause severance or is a barrier to movement. |
What changes do you suggest to make the DPD legally compliant or sound? | In policy EQ2 this should be recognised by the addition of additional wording to maintain habitat features in existing buildings as an additional bullet point. |
