We need to be satisfied that any proposed development within South Somerset takes account of the potential impact of the Strategic Road Network (SRN). In South Somerset this comprises the A303, a section of which runs west to east through the District. RE 10.6 Add the provision of on-road cycle lanes, and off road cycle routes, as specific sustainable transport development. Eg between Yeovilton/Ilchester and Yeovil. 1. Traffic has not been considered. 2. Can we please have a series of specific public meetings to explain the logic etc. Saying "the public can attend council meetings" is not good enough.
