Comment | The evidence base is defined for the Local Development Framework, but is extremely limited in relation to the historic environment with no references to core sources of data that should have been consulted, as identified by national guidance on Sustainability Appraisal and Strategic Environmental Assessment, PPS5 and its Practice Guide, and EH guidance on Strategic Environmental Assessment. The only real exception is the Yeovil Historic Environment capacity study, which is the only specific heritage study referred to and, as noted below, is extremely limited in scope and methods - especially with regard to SEA requirements. |
