Charles Bishop Limited support Policy TA5 — Transport Impact of New Development. We note, in an earlier part of the Local Plan that: * The conclusions from the Transport Modelling support development to the south and west of Yeovil, and * The Highways Agency have indicated that the Parsons Brinkerhoff work is sound.

Dorset County Council largely supports the generic District Wide Modal Shift Policies in Chapter 10 with one exception regarding green travel vouchers (see separate representation on Para 10.8.(c)) The remaining policies are in line with those of the Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset Local Transport Plan (LTP3) (2011-2026) which was adopted by the three Local Authorities (Bournemouth Borough Council, Borough of Poole, Dorset County Council) in April 2011.

Mactaggart & Mickel has no express concerns over the provisions of this policy. It is reasonable to expect significant planning applications to be supported by technical information on transport and traffic movements.
